Hydrant Marker A Must-Have for the Winter Make sure the public and fire departments see fire hydrants year round with our Slimline Hydrant Marker. This plastic injection molded, highly visible hydrant marker will not rust and will not fade in the sun. It looks good year-round. It comes with 6" of silver reflective tape on the top allowing for ample visibility at night. Marker mounts on the bonnet of the hydrant. A flexible boot at the bottom of the mounting bracket allows for marker to be easily bent over to allow for hydrant operation and returns to an upright position without much torque. Marker does not have a heavy spring, avoiding a whip-like action, and is not a rebar-type so it will not rust and can not be bent, and therefore is safe for pedestrians and cyclists.
